The booming laugh is heard from the hallway, with a few backstage hands turning and looking with dismay, while a couple of others smile and shrug, most just keep walking down to do what they need to do. The laughing subsides to a few hearty chuckles. Then silence.

"Oh shit, hold on. I always forget..."

The door opens slowly with Jeremy slowly peeking out around the door with what looks like barbecue sauce on his mouth. He notices a couple of the perturbed stagehands in the hallway just glaring his direction. He then sees the camera, smiles, and then lifts up one finger as if to signify for them to hold on for a moment. His gigantic frame walks out of the door with a to-go box in his hand.

"Sorry about all the noise, folks! I'm just excited. Here, if anyone is hungry I've got a lot of extras left over. I'm a big boy, but I ain't quite that big! AughAHaha-er, uhm, he he. Sorry. Don't mean to be loud. Here, you can have this. You like Mesquite?"

"Uhm, yeah sure...th-thank you."

"NOT A PROBLEM! Once again, sorry about the noise, hope I haven't messed up anything!" He turns to the camera. "Come on in, folks, I'm just celebrating my victory the same way I have always celebrated my victories. A nice set of BBQ from Rollin Smoke. Some of the best in Vegas. And this isn't even a paid endorsement, but hey, if Rollin Smoke wants to endorse me I won't be complaining, AughHah-ah! No, sorry...I'll remember soon, I promise. COME ON IN!"

The camera follows the man into the room. There is one table in the center with what looks like 3 aluminum holders you'd find when someone orders catering. There are three people in the room. Jeremy Cleetus, Jim Steed, and another large black man, who, astonishingly looks to be a good 6 inches taller and 2 inches wider than Jeremy. The camera man stops in his path.

"Aw, don't worry about him. He wouldn't hurt a fly. Or he at least hasn't done it yet, right poppa?"
"AughahHAH, Naw naw, not yet. But if one lands on this barbecue I may have to ask for forgiveness, you understand? AUGHAHAHA!"
"AUghahaHA!"
"I just gotta say it again. I'm thrilled you've brought me in and let me be a part of your incredible debut."
"That's what my boy does! Just tries to help as best as he can. Learned that from his momma."
"You know that's not true! That woman would go off if you sneezed wrong! AUghaHAHA!"
"He really is a bit ridiculous. I just got 10,000 dollars and he STILL wouldn't let me buy the food"
"Anytime I have a chance to support Rollin Smoke I'll do it!"
"It actually is very very good. I mean, I can't eat nearly as much as these two, but I'm trying. They're making me look bad."
"Well you guys should be careful, don't overindulge. You've got another fight next week. Gotta make sure you ain't walking off the extra pounds in the middle of the ring."
"Maaaaan. When you're right you're right, pops. All about portions. I just am so pumped! I've never seen anyone like El Technico IV. That's why I like trains. They go one direction and they make one or two turns every couple of hours. This guy, he can be everywhere."
"Oh you'll beat 'em!"
"Well thanks poppa, but I really don't know. You know what momma used to say about happy accidents."
"That was your mom's nickname for you for most of your life."
"Jesus! That's horrible."
"It's alright. I love my momma. Accident or not I'm here!"
"Why don't you ask that Miles guy? Can't he see the future or something?"
"Now poppa, what'd we say when we talk about other people's jobs? 'A living is a living, no matter how you make it,' You told me that poppa."
"I know it, I know it! You're a good boy."
"Who knows. Maybe he's onto something. I've seen weirder things in the city. Probably knows my moves before I even do them. Probably adds a lot of extra pressure though I'd imagine. He probably has people trying to call him out all the time for his statements and predictions. But he sticks with it. And I respect a person for that. Hell, I'll gladly step into the ring with him anytime!"
"Hopefully I won't hold you back, Cleetus. I was just cleared not too long ago so hopefully nothing gets split open...or in half, or whatever other horrible thing may happen to me for no reason."
"Tell you what, if you get pinned, you buy the next round of Rollin Smoke, deal?"
"I HARDLY SEE HOW THAT IS A PUNISHMENT! AUGHAHAhahaHAHA!"
"AughahHahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

As the three laugh the camera man backs out of the room slowly. Upon entering the hallway you can see four stagehands all smiling eating out of a white to go box. They give the camera a wave.

A microphone rests in the center of the concrete floor.
A leather-gloved hand reaches down to pick it up.
The hidden camera filming the scene zooms out and pans up.
Grundy, clad in jeans and a grimy grey tank top, stares down at it, tilting it and studying it for a moment.
He slowly raises it toward his mouth while seemingly surveying the area around him with uncertainty.
Shielding the microphone with a cupped hand he speaks into it with a muffled whisper punctuated with the whoosh of his breathing.

"...help me...
...help me...
...
...help..."

He suddenly lurches upright, as if startled, and stumbles back against the wall.
The microphone is now at arm's length but still picks up his now raised voice.

"Sorry, Mama!"

**BLAP!!**
He strikes himself with the microphone!
**BLAP!!**

"Stupid! Stupid!"

**BLAP!!*
**BLAP!**
The strikes himself in the head and chest then lets out a wail as he sinks to the floor.
Hunched over, head lowered, for a moment he only breathes, the microphone catching each shaking breath as he clutches it between his knees.
Then he speaks, slow and low.

"Ain't time to be weak, ain't time to be dumb, ain't time to be anybody's joke, boy...
...time to hurt 'em, time to show 'em, time to get 'em...get 'em good...
...ain't gonna happen again, is it?
Ain't gonna look a fool again, will ya, Grundy boy?

He suddenly heaves himself up to his feet, the microphone falling to the ground.
He bellows out the sing-song chant and gleefully stomps off down the hall.

So...it's come to this.

I assume that some of you have seen Mr. Lightkicker's most recent, let's call it, exposé on yours truly.

Well, 777 fans, pictures don't lie.

The man in that picture is me and, needless to say, the blood on me isn't.

I believe each one of us has parts of our pasts that we enjoy talking about and parts that we don't. Some moments shine in the limelight of our lives while others get...lost in the shadows.

But, I will not deny the man I used to be. While searching for a somewhere worthy of my skills, I made an error in judgement, and wound up with some less-than-noble individuals that shared my wont for better fighters, but lacked my eloquence and sportsmanship. And, in digging up this part of my past, Lex has put me in a very interesting position.

While I could easily make my next move now, I believe I shall lie and wait while I see how the pieces fall. After all, I do have a match to prepare for, and I won't disrespect my opponent by giving them anything less than my absolute best.

And one last thing, for all the fans out there, and those a little closer to the ring:

I don't make a habit of challenging people to a fight when I know they can't fight back.

Glad to see ya still got it.

The gym is busy with people preparing for their return to the ring. This ofcourse includes Brad Lockwood. He is busy jumping between pull ups and jumping rope when the cameras come in.

Jack Grumbling, the camera operator that Lockwood practically accosted two weeks ago, notices Lockwood right away. With more confidence than he once had he moves over to his station right as Lockwood drops from a pull up bar.

“Mr. Lockwood! Do you have any words for us before the next match”

Lockwood looks at the small man, he seemed vaguely familiar to him but it didn’t matter enough for him to remark upon it.

“I think I have made it perfectly clear how serious I am about this. If you are in that ring with me - my only aim is to win by demoralizing you. You will not “just lose”. I am going to make sure that you will never want to wrestle again. You may not be able to wrestle again.”

Holds up a picture of Riesgo flying through the air.

“I can’t wait to grab your ass out of the air and plant you firmly into the mat. What you do isn’t wrestling. It’s a damn circus act and that just will not fly. I am going to do to you what I did to Technico last week.”

Lockwood looks directly into the camera.

“You have a little more than 12 hours to pull out of this fight. You can still walk away unharmed. If you force me to waste my time with you - It will not be quick. I will drag it out. I won’t even try to pin you till I am through with you. You are mine until the ref calls it. That may not even be enough.

Our first step is to get that audience to cheer your name and the best way to do that is by making you look like the underdog. You come in here acting like a big shot and talking about being everyone else and...well, you see what the press is doing to Peter Vincent.

Right, so I can't just try to win all the time. But doesn't losing a lot make me look weak?

Depends on who you're losing to. I've been careful to always try to book you matches where you didn't stand a chance.

You're welcome. Having you go after someone like Grundy would have been foolish arrogance on both our parts, if there hadn't been a reason for it. Losing right there resulted in a match with PPV, giving you 2 losses, but against basically the 2 strongest guys here. No one's going to think Cassidy Nova's weak for losing to a platinum medalist or getting thrown out of the ring by that beast Grundy, but they'll want you to win now. They'll cheer for you to win. And when you do, they'll eat it up.

Okay, so...what's next?

You beat Truman in your next match and soak up the cheers from the crowd, making sure to stay humble about the whole thing.

That's it? Just...just beat him?

Trust me, Truman hasn't been giving anyone in the 777 any trouble thus far. He won't be a problem.

Well then...I guess I'll hit the gym and make sure I'm ready for the next match.

Cassidy Nova goes to leave the room.

Oh, Cass? One more thing. I think you should talk to that Thrasher girl. Word around the ring is that she's got the hots for ya. Plus, making the ladies in the crowd jealous of someone might make them want you even more.

Meredith smiles at Cassidy, while Cassidy laughs and leaves the room, shaking his head.

In a dimly lit basement there are 3 large posters on the wall. One in the center, of Cleetus smiling and hugging a fan, one of K<3yla taken directly from one of her webcam videos to the left, and to the right a head shot of Cassidy Nova that would make any female quiver up the knees and through her spine.

Truman steps into the shot. All we see is his bare-naked back and the back of his head. He is bald, with a single scar stretching from the top of his back to the dome of his head. He reaches out to Cleetus before pulling his hand back.

Truman huffs.

"Now I owe them a thank you. Without their... foolishness, I wouldn't stand a chance at getting to the prize. I'd be a nobody. Like Miles Infinity or the Horse-legged man. But I'm not. I AM NOT A NOBODY!"

Truman puts his hand on the face of Cassidy Nova, tracing the lips.

"There will be a lot of things said about me--true things. I can't say they aren't, because I can't show proof against them. I have failed. I have failed to back up my words in the ring and thus people like Cassidy & Meredith can believe I am the one to beat. I can not argue against them with my words. My words are empty. Amy's words are useless. Amy is useless..."

We hear crying in the distance.

"This time, there will be no Amy Atom at ringside. No towels to be thrown when she gets scared. I can not be beaten by my feet landing on the outside of the ring. I can not be beaten by a towel landing in the ring. No one has pinned me. No one has made ME submit. I have not, to this day, been fairly defeated, and it will not start with the art project that is Cassidy Nova."

Truman suddenly rips the poster off the wall! It is now in two pieces in his hands as he turns around and holds it up--a piece blocking his face from view.

"This is who you will cheer. This will be your favorite. This is the one you will shower with applause. And good. Do it. He is beautiful, he is living the dream, and he is the underdog. And he will burn at my feet and I will kick the ashes into the sheeples eyes. Welcome to my hell, 777. Thank you for the chances."

She shows her trophies again.

K3yla: For every one of these, I have at least one of these.

She uses the camera to show a number of different scars. Arms, legs, has, scalp. Elbow.

K3yla: That last one wasn't from wrestling. Anyway, the point is, I know that Truman is way more than someone to beat once. Brad and Candee,too. I'm still on it. I'm watching my back. I know any one of them may make their move at any time. I just have to do better.

Troll gets hit by Lucas Thrope with a Lou Thesz Press. Lucas Thrope hops up and stomps mercilessly on his prey. Every time Troll tries to stand, his smaller opponent forces him back down with a flurry of fury from Thrope. Lucas Thrope gets hooked up by Troll with that Clawhold. Troll is finally able to get to his feet, applying the pressure on Lucas Thrope with that Clawhold. Lucas Thrope is trying to reach for the ropes. Lucas Thrope gets to the ropes and gets out of the Clawhold.

Rumble: That Clawhold wasn't going to put Lucas Thrope away just yet.

Troll whips Lucas into the ropes, who pounces back and takes the Norwegian strongman off his feet with that Lariat Takedown. Troll gets hit with a Haymaker by Lucas Thrope. Troll shakes his head, retreating to a corner, but Lucas continues his onslaught. As the ref is yelling to get them out of the corner, Troll delivers a quick kick behind him, catching Thrope in his manly parts without the ref seeing it.

Rumble: Great maneuver!

Ali: What a cheapshot. How can anyone respect a wrestler who works like that?

Rumble: I do. He wins. He beats his opponents, and he wins. And he does it by being smart. Ring awareness. Troll has this match in the bag.

Troll positions the groaning Lucas Thrope beneath the turnbuckle. He climbs up to the second turnbuckle and leaps off, hitting Thrope with that Banzai Drop. The One Man Wolfpack is pinned to the mat by Troll.

Ali: ONE! And Lucas gets his shoulder up.

As Troll gets to his feet, Thrope gets Troll by surprise and rolls him up for a pin. Thrope has Troll's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count.

Both men are now back on their feet. Lucas Thrope tries for a Haymaker on Troll and is successful. Lucas Thrope tries to whip Troll into the corner, but Troll is too big. Lucas tries again, but Troll smiles, not budging. A third attempt, and Troll counters, whipping Lucas the other way. Troll tries to follow it up with a corner splash, but Lucas rolls out of the ring. Troll lands hard. Lucas on the outside ties Troll up around the ringpost in a modified apron Tree of Woe and wails on him with stomps and strikes, before putting all his weight on Troll’s throat!

Ali: This is barbaric!

Rumble: At this point, that hold could be devastating. Come on, ref, count him out!

Troll winces in pain as Lucas Thrope applies the pressure. Troll desperately reaches for the ropes, but can't make it and is forced to tap out!

Winner by submission in 6:42 – Lucas Thrope!!

Ali: And with that Lucas moves on in the tournament, and your man, Troll, is eliminated.

Rumble: Unfair. Unfair. I mean, great maneuver by Thrope, but completely unfair to my man Troll.

Gold Rush Double Elimination Tournament Loser's Bracket Match: Truman vs. Cassidy Nova

Truman, alone at the ring for the first time since his debut, shows no emotion through his mask. Cassidy Nova looks confidant for a man who has only lost matches. The two lock up, but Truman quickly takes advantage. He throws Cassidy into the ropes, but he springboards off them with a beautiful moonsault that turns into an inverted DDT! The crowd goes nuts as Nova stands tall, smiling. Truman rolls to the outside as Cassidy basks in the audience’s favor.

Rumble: Truman is reeling after that one.

Ali: You have to wonder how he feels since things have gone so downhill after his impressive debut episode 1. He’s even sent Amy Atom away to stay in the back.

Rumble: Don’t count the man out after a single bad day.

Truman finally gets back into the ring after the ref has counted to eight. Cassidy waits, looking to lock-up. Truman pretends to do so, but gives Nova a swift kick to the thigh. Cassidy Nova gets hit with a Double Underhook DDT by Truman. Cassidy Nova attempts to take a breather in his corner, but Truman doesn't let up and instead hits Cassidy Nova with a Backbreaker. Truman whips Cassidy into the ropes, but Nova flies back with a sunset flip.

Ali: Cassidy Nova has Truman's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!

Ali: Cassidy Nova can't keep Truman down as Truman is able to kick out.

Ali: Cassidy Nova is going for a pin here on Truman.

Rumble: I really don't think that Cassidy Nova has done enough damage to Truman yet.

Ali: ONE! Truman gets a shoulder up and breaks out of the pin attempt!

Cassidy Nova tries to counter, but to no avail as Truman hits the Backbreaker. Nova whipped into the ropes, but he returns with that Spear. Nova tries to keep up the advantage, but to no avail as Truman hits the Headbutt. Truman hits Cassidy Nova with a second Headbutt. Cassidy Nova responds with a takes down Truman with that Overhand Punch. Truman responds with a Forearm Club. Truman shifts the tables back to his favor with a Belly to Back Suplex. Truman measures up Cassidy Nova and hits the Backbreaker. Truman hooks the leg.

Ali: ONE!

Ali: Truman looks upset as Cassidy Nova kicks out of the pin.

Truman gets hit by Nova with a Front Kick. Before he can continue, Truman catches Cassidy Nova by surprise with a Double Underhook DDT. Truman tries to lift Nova into the Atom Bomb, but Nova counters and hits an Inverted DDT. Truman attempts to take a breather, but Cassidy Nova doesn't let up and instead hits Truman with a Overhand Punch. Cassidy Nova measures up Truman and hits the Overhand Punch. Cassidy Nova has Truman in the ropes, whips him, but Truman counters with the Double Underhook DDT. Truman hits a clothesline. A second. Nova counters with a Russian Leg Sweep.

Ali: This is an incredible match from this young man! I think he is making a lot of fans today.
Rumble: Speaking of fans …

((Carla Thrasher’s music))

Carla Thrasher, by herself, makes her way to the ring, watching the match. Meredith, Nova’s manager, takes notice, but says nothing to her man. The distraction is enough for Truman to catch Nova with a forearm club as he paid attention to Carla. Truman looks to be setting up Nova for the Atom Bomb. Truman does some damage to Cassidy Nova with that Belly to Back Suplex. Truman measures up Cassidy Nova and hits the Punt. Truman follows that up with that Double Underhook DDT. Truman gloats to the crowd and yells at Meredith and Carla, giving Nova enough time to catch the masked madman off guard with a Front Kick. Cassidy Nova catches the surprised Truman with a Russian Leg Sweep.

Ali: Nova’s movements are incredibly fluid in the ring.

Rumble: That won’t help him in the long run.

Truman measures up Cassidy Nova and hits the Punt. Cassidy Nova returns the favor and smashes Truman in the gut with the Front Kick. Cassidy Nova tries to counter, but to no avail as Truman hits the Backbreaker. Truman whips Nova into the ropes, but Nova hits that amazing springboard moonsault into an inverted DDT again. Cassidy Nova takes down Truman with that Swinging Reverse STO.

Ali: That Swinging Reverse STO is impressive to say the least. Elegance, fluidity, grace. It isn’t all about power, but technique, Rumble.

Cassidy looks to try to finish Truman. He whips Truman into the corner, but Truman reverses! He lifts Nova up and catches Nova with the Atom Bomb.

Ali: I think that this could be it! Yes, there it is! Trumanhits the Atom Bomb Tombstone Piledriv and catches Cassidy Nova in a pin attempt.

Ali: ONE!

Ali: TWO!

Rumble: Stay down kid! I don’t think Truman can take any more from you and your stupid dancing.

Ali: THREE! Despite a surprising effort by Nova, Truman gets the win and moves on in the tournament.

Brad Lockwood hits Riesgo with the German Suplex and goes right for a cover.

Ali: ONE! Brad Lockwood can't keep Riesgo down as Riesgo is able to kick out.

Brad Lockwood hits Riesgo with that European Uppercut. Riesgo gets hit with a Standing Dropkick by Brad Lockwood. Brad Lockwood catches Riesgo by surprise with a Belly to Back Suplex. Riesgo measures up Brad Lockwood and hits the Diving Senton. Riesgo hits the Standing Shooting Star Press on Brad Lockwood turns it into a pinning combination.

Ali: Riesgo has Brad Lockwood's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!

Ali: Brad Lockwood shoves Riesgo off and breaks out of the pin.

Brad Lockwood tries for an European Uppercut on Riesgo and is successful. Riesgo tries for a Dropkick on Brad Lockwood and is successful. Brad Lockwood rolls up Riesgo and tries for a pin, grabbing her tights for extra leverage since the ref can’t see.

Ali: THREE! A dirty trick to push himself forward in the tournament. I agree with this crowd who disprove of Lockwood’s abuse of the system.

Rumble: All of you whiners can shove it right up your ass. Write complaints, editorials, and dirt sheets all you want, but Lockwood proved himself tonight!

Platinum Peter Vincent tries to start with a lock-up, but Grundy hits the Headbutt. Grundy gets hit with a Wheelbarrow suplex by Platinum Peter Vincent. Grundy tries to counter, but to no avail as Platinum Peter Vincent hits the Gold Rush.

Rumble: That's a devastating move!

Grundy takes down Platinum Peter Vincent with that Forearm Club. Platinum Peter Vincent gets hit by a second Forearm Club, followed by a third. And a fourth. Grundy hits Platinum Peter Vincent with that Ear-grab choke throw, and PPV slides out of the ring, frustrated. Platinum Peter Vincent slowly makes his way back in, and is met by the sole of Grundy’s Big Boot. Platinum Peter Vincent tries to make a comeback, but to no avail as Grundy hits the Forearm Club, and the crowd is going nuts at the manhandling Grundy is delivering. More forearms, followed by headbutts, and more forearms.

Ali: No one has ever manhandled PPV like Grundy is right now.

Rumble: This is bullshit. The ref needs to get some separation and start this match over.

Grundy hits Platinum Peter Vincent with that Headbutt before grabbing him and tossing him across the ring once again with a choke throw. PPV sits in the corner, a large welt on his chest and on his forehead as he spits and cusses. Grundy is shocked by the crowd’s positive reaction to him and seems disconcerted by it. He looks to Froggy Froggy Froggy to help. The backwoods brute nods and lumbers towards PPV, who pulls himself to his feet. Grundy goes for another headbutt, but PPV is swift and smashes Grundy with a headbutt of his own. Grundy responds with a forearm club. Platinum Peter Vincent attempts to take a breather on the outside, but Grundy doesn't let up and follows him out, grabbing him and delivering another headbutt. Grundy rolls the ‘wrestling royalty’ into the ring and goes for a pin.

Ali: ONE! And Grundy looks incredibly upset as PPV easily drapes his foot over the bottom rope.

The two men get to their feet. They look up, and PPV tries to get some advantage, but to no avail as Grundy hits the Short-arm STO. Grundy is going for a pin.

Ali: ONE!

Ali: TWO!

Ali: And once again, PPV gets his foot on the ropes, breaking the count. Grundy looks more than a little upset, smashing himself in the side of his head and headbutting a turnbuckle.

Platinum Peter Vincent attempts to take a breather, but Grundy doesn't let up and instead hits Platinum Peter Vincent with a Sky High sitout chokebomb. Grundy revs up his arm like an imaginary chainsaw, signaling for the Woodchipper as the crowd cheers:

GRIND ‘EM UP, GRUNDY, GRIND ‘EM UP!

Grundy hits Platinum Peter Vincent with that Short-arm STO. Grundy then lifts PPV over his shoulder and hits the Woodchipper in the center of the ring. The Backwoods Brute hooks the leg, but the ref stops the match, as the Woodchipper knocked PPV out cold.

Winner by ref stoppage at 7:40 – Grundy!!

Jeremy Cleetus and Jim Steed v. Miles Infinity and El Technico IV

Rumble: Where did all that idiot's money go?

Ali: I assume he is letting it ride, betting it all on himself again.

“Making their way to the ring, worth a combined approximate $1400, El Technico IV and Miles Infinity!”

As the bell sounds, Miles Infinity tags himself out of the match. Confused, El Technico IV leaps in, and Jeremy Cleeuts catches him on his shoulder! “ALL ABOARD!” And the Loco-Motive tosses El Technico IV all the way across the ring! Jeremy Cleetus pins him.

Ali: ONE! TWO! THREE! And it is over almost before it had begun!

Winners by pinfall in 00:14 – Jeremy Cleetus and Jim Steed!

As Miles heads to the back, Jim Steed leaps from the apron and stops the Connection. With a wag of his finger, Steed gives Infinity a stiff clothesline and drags him back to the ring. Cleetus laughs and cheers with the fans, happy for Jim Steed to finally be able to get in the ring. Cleetus holds Miles up and Jim Steed climbs to the top rope, leaping off into a lifted high Miles Infinity, catching him with The Stampede top rope leg lariat! The two friends raise each others’ hands in victory.

Ali: We have just received word from Miss Jessica Redd, but there will apparently be at Gold Rush, next week, a special LOSER'S LUCK match between Cassidy Nova and Miles Infinity. Do you have any idea what a "Loser's Luck" match is, Rumble?

Rumble: Not a clue. But I bet you that losing THAT match is a great way to kill your career.

Ali: Both these men haven't fared well here in 777 Championship Wrestling. For one of them, things are looking to get worse. Now, to the ring for the next match!

Gold Rush Double Elimination Tournament Loser's Bracket Match: Lucas Thrope vs. Truman

Ali: This is the second match for both these men, and the winner will be going to the Gold Rush Pay-Per-View in the tournament, and the loser will be out.

Rumble: Really, I’ll be happy either way.

Ali: The crowd doesn’t know who to root for. Both men haven’t made many fans here in 777.

Rumble: I’m a fan of both, and that’s all that matters.

Lucas Thrope tries for a Lariat Takedown on Truman and is successful. Lucas Thrope tries for a Haymaker on Truman and is successful. Truman hits Lucas Thrope with that Headbutt. Lucas Thrope does some damage to Truman with that Haymaker. Truman gets stomped into the corner by the One Man Wolfpack. Lucas Thrope catches Truman by surprise with a Running Facewash. Lucas Thrope measures up Truman and hits the Stomp. Lucas Thrope drags Truman into the center of the ring and goes for a pin.

Ali: ONE! And Truman kicks out of the pin attempt.

Thrope whips Truman into the corner and follows it up with another Running Facewash. Lucas Thrope takes a moment to gloat, but that’s enough as Truman catches him with a backbreaker. Lucas Thrope does some damage to Truman with that Stomp, but Truman responds with a Headbutt. Lucas continues to stomp on Truman, despite his offense. More stomps in the corner by Thrope, followed by another Running Facewash. Truman fires back with the Forearm Club, but Lucas ignores it, a hungry smile on his face. He howls, signaling for the Waning Crescent. Lucas Thrope doesn't let up and instead hits Truman with a Running Facewash. The masked madman tries to fight back with some forearm clubs, followed by a pin attempt.

Ali: Truman has Lucas Thrope's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!

Ali: Lucas Thrope shoves Truman off and breaks out of the pin.

Rumble: He can smell blood. Thrope has never looked more confidant.

Lucas Thrope kips up and stomps away on Truman. Lucas Thrope leaps to the second turnbuckles and tries for the Waning Crescent – a leaping lungblower – but Truman is fighting it off, sending Lucas to the other corner. Lucas springboards off the other corner and his the Waning Crescent on the return!

Rumble: NO! ... Good night, Truman.

Ali: Truman is out cold. The referee is going to award this match to Lucas Thrope in a shocking upset! Truman, once a front-runner to become the 777 Heavyweight Champion, has been removed from the tournament.

Winner by ref stoppage in 4:14 – Lucas Thrope!!

Truman rolls and crashes on the outside as Amy Atom runs down to her man. She gets him to his feet and walks him up the ramp before he realizes she is helping him and he pushes her off, trying to walk on his own. Clearly out of breath and having trouble catching it, he eventually lets up and takes his manager’s help to the back.

Gold Rush Double Elimination Tournament Winner's Bracket Match and MAIN EVENT: Candee Thrasher vs. K3yla

Candee Thrasher hits K3yla with the Corkscrew Elbow Drop and goes right for a cover.

Ali: K3yla shoves Candee Thrasher off and breaks out of the pin.

Candee Thrasher does some damage to K3yla with that Stomp. K3yla tries to counter, but to no avail as Candee Thrasher hits the Flying Clothesline. K3yla catches Candee Thrasher by surprise with a DDT. Candee Thrasher hits K3yla with that Stomp. Candee Thrasher tries for a Flying Clothesline on K3yla and is successful. Candee Thrasher does some damage to K3yla with that Haymaker. Candee Thrasher does some damage to K3yla with that Stomp, followed by another. Ali: Candee Thrasher can't keep K3yla down as K3yla is able to kick out.

K3yla gets hit by a Haymaker. K3yla gets hit with a Flying Clothesline by Candee Thrasher. Candee Thrasher tries for an Eye Rake on K3yla and is successful. Blinded momentarily, K3yla cannot block a powerful haymaker. Candee Thrasher hits the Corkscrew Elbow Drop and catches K3yla in a pin.

Ali: ONE! And Candee Thrasher looks upset as K3yla kicks out of the pin.

Ali: Candee Thrasher drops down for a second pin attempt. ONE!

Ali: TWO!

With the referee not paying attention, Candee puts her feet on the ropes, giving her more and more leverage! It doesn’t matter how much K3yla struggles …

Ali: THREE! That's it!

Rumble: That a girl!

Winner by pinfall in 5:00 – Candee Thrasher!!

Ali: What a deplorable day for Jackpot fans. Upsets, cheats, and downright bad sportsmanship takes us into the Gold Rush PPV.

As K3yla sits in the corner, demoralized, Candee celebrates. Credits roll.
