Ali: Salut, everyone! And welcome to the inaugural episode of 777 Championship Wrestling’s Jackpot! I am Ali Hakim-Mann, one of your announcers and to my left is …Rumble: Yo, yo, yo, homies, homos, and hoes, I’m Thomas “Rumble” Sullivan, and I am ready to watch some asses get kicked and spread some knowledge to your heads about what is going on!
Ali: Quite. I am honored to be one of the voices of this broadcast, along with my companion, Thomas “Rumble” Sullivan. If you are unaware of what is going on, 777 Championship Wrestling is going to, and I quote, "revolutionize professional wrestling as we know it." A federation built upon the conceits of Risk and Reward, of REAL sports and REAL money. It is the most “real” a wrestling company has ever been, and you are here with us to start it all off.RED ALERT
As the music plays, a stunningly beautiful red-headed woman makes her way to the ring, dressed in black. She carries in her hand a microphone. Once inside, she stands silent, waiting for the crowd to finish their chant.
THIS IS AWESOME
*CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP*

Once they die down, she brings up the microphone, the 777 logo emblazoned on it, but the crowd roared to life once more with a new chant. Miss Jessica Redd put down the microphone and once more waited.
YOU ARE SEXY

“
Hello. My name is Miss Jessica Redd. And welcome to 777 Championship Wrestling’s flagship television program, Jackpot, on its home on the DiY Network. Today, you are going to meet a lot of wrestlers. Some you may know. Some you may not. That’s fine. You see, here, in this arena, for this crowd, on this show, everyone is equal. It doesn’t matter your weight, your skill, your accomplishments, all that matters from this point on is what you do in this ring, and how much you are worth.”
Miss Redd gestures up to the entrance ramp. Along the side, made plainly apparent, is an LED display that comes to life, showing all of the wrestlers in 777CW, with their Net Worth displayed beside them. At the top, is Grundy, the only man with any money.
“
Money is important here in 777. It’s how you make your living, it’s how you pay for your mistakes, and it is how you eventually earn the shots you need to make it to the top of the mountain. And the top of the mountain … is this.”
A referee comes down the ramp, holding in his hands above his head the 777 Heavyweight Championship belt. He turns side to side, making sure everyone in attendance can see the belt, and shows it to each camera man as he passes by them.
Ali:
Very few men and women are fortunate enough to hold onto a belt of that much prestige in any company. Maybe a tenth of the employees in any given company becomes the top dog champion in their career.Rumble: That sumbitch is something like 25 pounds, too. Leather, platinum, and of course gold. They ain’t easy to lift, and they are worth every single cent.
Ali: Especially this one.“
On October 2nd, we will be holding our first ever PPV, Gold Rush. It will hold the finals of a Double Elimination Gold Rush tournament, starting tonight. In those finals we will crown the first every 777 Heavyweight Champion. And even more, the winner will be making a cold $1,000,000. Over the next there weeks, we will watch as these twelve men and women compete to earn that title. Every time they win, they win $500. And every match, they can bet their hard earned money on the other matches to try to make more money. Money makes the world go round. It buys you screen time, matches, stipulations, and it keeps you out of trouble if things may not go your way.“
The tournament is going to start with a 12-man Battle Royal. The order of elimination will give your seeds in the tournament.”
On the screen above the entrance ramp, a bracket is shown. The crowd mumbles and murmurs as Jessica Redd continues.
“
22 matches, and a battle royal. That is what stands between these men and women … and this. But, there is a wrinkle. You see, Mr. Ohmega, our President and CEO, he very much loves Risk and Reward. So he has decided that he wants to make the talent consider their options. You see, every contestant will earn $100 per their seed. That means that the first man out will make $1200 tonight. The second to last man, or woman, out will make $200. There will be a $1000 bonus for the winner as well. So what do you do? Do you take the money and the low seed? Or do you fight your way to the top, only to earn basically nothing? Risk. Reward.“
There are many more opportunities in store for everyone here. But if we shared them all, there wouldn’t be anything else to talk about. So let’s get this show going.”
The crowd roars to life as Miss Redd leaves the ring, heading to the back. The referee puts the 777 Heavyweight Title belt and places it on a pedestal near the ring.
Ali: There you have it. Risk and Reward. And some crazy options to consider.Rumble: I’d jump out immediately.
Ali: That does sound like something you’d do.Rumble: Listen, it is the smart move. You waste no energy, you make more money than the winner, and you save your energy. Look at the tournament bracket, the bottom eight all have to wrestle TONIGHT. Better to take the cash and get out of the way.
Ali: That completely undermines the competition.Rumble: No, it is planning ahead.
Ali: I just cannot agree, and hopefully these wrestlers won’t either. Here we go.Standing center of the ring, microphone hanging from the catwalks high above, Garrett “Gridlock” Dalton begins to explain the rules. “This is a 12-man Battle Royal. All twelve competitors will start in the ring. The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope and have both feet land on the floor. The order that each competitor is eliminated from the match will sort them into the Double Elimination Gold Rush tournament.”
“Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Amy Atom, at 6’ 4”, weighing 267, with a net worth of zero dollars, Truman!”
Ali: Truman is as enigmatic as they come. What do you know about him, Rumble?Rumble: He comes from Japan … and that’s it.
Ali: Seen him training ever?Rumble: Despite not being much larger than most of the roster, Truman is incredibly strong, which should give him a huge advantage in this Battle Royal.
“Making his way to the ring, at 6’, weighing 240, with a net worth of zero dollars, Miles Infinity!”
Ali: A self-proclaimed prophet and fortune teller, Miles has a lot to prove tonight.Rumble: I don’t believe for a second in his magic mumbo-jumbo.
Ali: Magic or not, he has the technical skills to be a force to be reckoned with.“Making his way to the ring, at 6’ 2”, weighing 342, with a net worth of zero dollars, Brad Lockwood!”
Ali: Brad Lockwood is inexperienced in the ring, and at the beginning of his career as a professional wrestler.Rumble: So what? He’s a career soldier, and took to the sport quickly. Destroying opponents is what he claims to do, and looking at him, I believe him!
“Making her way to the ring, at 5’8”, weighing 150, with a net worth of zero dollars, K3yla!”
Ali: Quite possible the most popular and previously trained wrestler in the whole company, there are a lot of KLovers out there rooting for their hero.Rumble: Who cares? She’s too short to deal with even the most novice of wrestlers. There’s no way she makes it more than two minutes.
“Making her way to the ring, accompanied by Carla , at 5’8”, weighing 120, with a net worth of zero dollars, Candee Thrasher!”
Ali: A rough and tumble chick with a hard life she is –Rumble: SMOKING HOT!
Ali: That … that doesn’t matter, Rumble.Rumble: Matters to me.
“Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Froggy Froggy Froggy, at 6’8”, weighing 314, with a net worth of $257.31, Grundy!”
Ali: What do you make of this Backwood Brute, Grundy?Rumble: A hick piece of trash who has no business being here, let alone with all that bonus cash.
Ali: You have to admit, his size and having the largest net worth makes him a real contender here.Rumble: Nah, he’s not my pick to win, son.
“Making his way to the ring, at 7’1”, weighing 507, with a net worth of zero dollars, Troll!”
Rumble: THIS is my guy to win! The largest guy in the company, and the heaviest, there is no way anyone is going to throw him out of the ring!
Ali: As a world renowned strong man, you just may be right.“Making her way to the ring, at 5’6”, weighing 127, with a net worth of zero dollars, Riesgo!”
Ali: This daredevil luchadora is ready to fight.Rumble: She’s a crazy woman!
Ali: She is attractive though, right? That was the first thing you had to say about Candee Thrasher.Rumble: Doesn’t make her any less crazy. She needs to be locked up and have the key thrown away.
“Making his way to the ring, at 6’3”, weighing 199, with a net worth of zero dollars, Platinum Peter Vincent!”
Rumble: Now THIS guy! Look at him! You know he is an Olympic Platinum medal winner?
Ali: There is no such thing as a Platinum medal.Rumble: Sure there is! He’s got one.
Ali: He’s got one, yeah? In what sport?Rumble: …
“Making his way to the ring, at 5’11”, weighing 168, with a net worth of zero dollars, Lucas Thrope!”
Ali: The One Man Wolf Pack Lucas Thrope, the one of the smallest male competitors in 777 Championship Wrestling, that seems to put him at a large disadvantage, wouldn’t you say?Rumble: What a stupid thing to say. Size doesn’t matter … unless you are Troll’s size. But Lucas could probably come in second.
Ali: Indeed, it is really anyone’s match.“Making his way to the ring, at 5’ 4”, weighing 148, with a net worth of zero dollars, El Technico IV!”
Rumble: And this masked idiot makes Lucas Thrope look like a titan!
Ali: Seriously, El Technico comes from a long lines of luchadores. Calling him an idiot is worthless at best. He has just recently taken up the mantle to make his father, El Technico II, and his younger brother, El Technico III who was tragically injured, to make them proud.
“And making his way to the ring, accompanied by Meredith Geffen, at 5’8”, weighing 140, with a net worth of zero dollars, Cassidy Nova!”
Ali: The final competitor in the Gold Tournament, and the newest recruitment to 777 Championship Wrestling, Cassidy Nova is looking to make it big in the hopes to find true love, if you can believe it.Rumble: What he needs to do is pay attention to what is going on around him, or he is going to be squashed by a bug.
Once Cassidy Nova enters the crowded ring, one of the referees outside the ring signals for the bell.
12-Man Battle Royal to seed the Gold Rush tournament Everyone is at a standstill to start, not sure exactly how to proceed. Brad Lockwood makes the first move, blasting K3yla from behind with a forearm club. From there, it is a mass of bodies pounding away on each other!
Rumble: Nice cheap shot!
Ali: Is there really such a thing as a “nice” cheap shot?Rumble: Whatever gets the win.
It is a mass of clotheslines, kicks, European uppercuts, and dropkicks as everyone jockeys for some kind of advantage. Brad Lockwood continues to control K3yla in the corner. Grundy and Troll are slugging it out. El Technico IV and Riesgo, luchadores both, seem to be working together to try to get Platinum Peter Vincent out of the ring. Miles Infinity and Truman fight each other, and Lucas Thrope comes up behind Miles and tries to toss him.
And in the center of the ring is Candee Thrasher and Cassidy Nova. Nova’s manager, Meredith is yelling for him to get Candee out of the ring as Candee’s sister stands nearby, seemingly praying. Cassidy puts out a hand to Candee in respect. She grabs his hand … then shoves a thumb straight in his eye and takes him down with a leg sweep.
Ali: A not very honorable onslaught by the former prisoner.Rumble: There ain’t no rules in a Battle Royal on conduct Ali. Just get your opponents over the top.
And with that, Candee tosses out Cassidy … who holds onto the top rope. His feet barely avoid touching the floor as he rolls back in. Truman headbutts Miles Infinity and offers a nod to Lucas. Together, they lift and throw Miles Infinity from the ring! As Lucas howls in excitement, Truman turns on him.
FIRST ELIMINATED MILES INFINITY
The two giants, Grundy and Troll are making no headway on each other. Riesgo and El Technico, giving up on PPV, come to offer aid to Grundy to get the biggest man in the competition out. Technico yells out to the other wrestlers for help. Slowly, more and more of the wrestlers pile up on Troll, getting around and underneath him. Troll tries to headbutt and smash his way out of the predicament, but everyone other than Brad Lockwood and K3yla together toss the enormous Norwegian!
SECOND ELIMINATED TROLL
K3yla and Brad Lockwood trade right hands, going back and forth, refusing to give the other any momentum. The Commander’s sheer size advantage has K3yla in a bad place, as he picks her up and puts her on the apron outside the ring ropes. He tries to toss her, but she has a hold on his head. He continues to try to lift her and remove her from him, but again she counters, though her footing falters on the apron. A third attempt, but this time, K3yla counters, corkscrewing around and turning it into a Tornado DDT in the ring!
Ali: Great maneuver! It isn’t all about size and strength, as we get saw with Troll’s elimination and K3yla’s excellent counter maneuver!Rumble: Shut up, Ali, take a look!
Cassidy Nova is a house of fire. Stiff forearms to everyone, knocking them off their feet. Riesgo, El Technico, K3yla, Brad Lockwood, Truman, Lucas Thrope, Candee Thrasher, PPV, everyone takes a hit from Nova. He hits Grundy … who doesn’t fall. Cassidy runs the ropes, trying once again, but the Backwoods Brute doesn’t give. Nova looks to his manager who yells at him something unintelligible, but Nova nods understanding. He out of nowhere hits an impressive shooting star crossbody! … but Grundy catches Nova handily. Grundy walks to the ropes and tosses Nova out without any struggle.
THIRD ELIMINATED CASSIDY NOVA
Brad Lockwood then strikes, shooting on Grundy from behind and lifting the big man off his feet! Grundy grabs the top rope, holding on to keep his weight on the ring side of the ropes. And from behind, K3yla grabs Lockwood’s legs and tosses him over as he’s distracted!
FOURTH ELIMINATED BRAD LOCKWOOD
The Commander is frustrated, yelling and cursing, kicking the steel ring steps and slamming his hands on the apron. In the ring, the two luchadores continue to work together, using their speed and technique to bring big man Grundy to his knees. A stiff kick to the head from Lucas Thrope has Grundy down! The luchadores look to each other and nod and each head to a corner of the ring! From the top rope, El Technico IV leaps off with a beautiful Senton Bomb on Grundy, followed quickly by Riesgo’s own diving Senton Bomb! K3yla excited, motions to the top rope! She leaps up … but Brad Lockwood, still outside the ring, grabs her left foot and yanks it, sending K3yla crashing face first to the mat! He pulls her out of the ring under the bottom rope and before any of the referees can stop him, grabs her and throws her overhead with a huge belly-to-back suplex!
Rumble: That’s it, K3yla’s out! Thatta boy, Commander.
Ali: K3yla may be injured, but she has not be eliminated from this match yet. She didn’t go over the top.Lockwood leaves K3yla lying on the outside, a chorus of booes from the crowd echoing in the Arena as more referees come from the back, forcing the Commander to the back. One checks on K3yla on the outside. In the ring, things have slowed as the Grundy catches his breath in the corner and El Technico and Riesgo and being taken down by the other four. El Technico is whipped into the ropes and Lucas Thrope catches him in an almost animalistic Lou Thesz press, beating away at El Technico’s face. Candee and Riesgo trade blows. Truman and Platinum Peter Vincent have turned to each other and the masked man tries to forcibly push the “platinum medalist” over the top rope. Amy Atom on the outside is trying to give Truman support. As PPV and Truman continue to fight, Amy grabs PPV’s foot. Angry, he turns and yells over the ropes at her. Truman sees his opportunity and runs at PPV with a hell of a clothesline … but PPV is too clever by half, ducks and pulls the top rope! Truman tumbles out on top of his manager!
FIFTH ELIMINATED TRUMAN
Platinum Peter Vincent smiles, at a job well done, and doesn’t see the berserk rush of Grundy, who handily tosses PPV!
SIXTH ELIMINATED PLATINUM PETER VINCENT
History repeats itself again! Riesgo, El Technico IV, Candee, and Lucas Thrope all together lift the enormous Grundy off his feet and toss him as well!
SEVENTH ELIMINATED GRUNDY
Ali: What an astounding series of events!Rumble: I can’t believe it. All the pipsqueaks are left.
Ali: I kept saying, it isn’t about size. Before anyone can catch a breath, Riesgo and El Technico IV both deliver dropkicks, one to Lucas Thrope and one to Candee Thrasher. Riesgo and El Technico are the only two still standing! With a quick handshake, they begin to circle each other. They lock up. Riesgo turns it into a hammerlock, but El Technico flips out of it and reverses it. Riesgo goes underneath El Technico’s arm and hits a Moonsault STO! But El Technico seems completely unaffected and kips up. The crowd cheers in response to the technical display, but it is short lived as Candee and Lucas both take down the luchadores and start stomping them into the opposite corners.
The two brawlers give each other a nod and whip the luchadores into each other in the center of the ring. But the luchadores were ready! Riesgo leaps over El Technico and crashes into Lucas with a corkscrew crossbody as El Technico rolls up to Candee, hitting a koppu kick! Both brawlers are stunned and tossed over the top!
EIGHTH ELIMINATED LUCAS THROPE
NINTH ELIMINATED CANDEE THRASHER
Riesgo and El Technico acknowledge the crowd’s cheers and once more lock up. This time, El Technico has the advantage and easily connects with another koppu kick. He then leaps up and drops Riesgo with a DDT. He tries to pull her up to throw her over the ropes, but she gets another wind and grabs El Technico and hits him with a big dragon suplex! In quick succession, she also leaps and hits a standing shooting star press. El Technico responds with another DDT!
Ali: Both of these wrestlers are giving it everything they have to win this match and obtain that number one seed.El Technico has Riesgo on the ropes. Irish whip across the ring, and on the return leapfrog, Riesgo off the ropes, she dives over El Technico who tries to catch her with a monkey flip. Riesgo off the ropes again, but she runs into a BIG BOOT FROM TRUMAN OUT OF NOWHERE! Truman somehow quickly made his way back into the ring, and he is now manhandling El Technico as Amy Atom sneaks in and starts to choke Riesgo and slam her head against the mat.
On the outside, K3yla tries to get up to her feet, mustering her way up to the ring apron, but Truman runs and gives her a devastating kick before she could get to her feet, crashing her to the ground outside.
Rumble: That’s what you gotta do! If you aren’t going to win, then take your competition out now before you have to meet them again.
Ali: This is a travesty. This is incredibly uncalled for.Garrett “Gridlock” Dalton has made his way to the ring apron and is pulling Amy Atom off of Riesgo. The masked mad-man’s manager continues to struggle and fight, kicking at Riesgo and punching and yelling and cursing and spitting as Dalton tries to control the situation. Inside the ring, Truman tosses El Technico IV around like a toy. Double underhook DDT. Belly-to-back suplex. A second one.
The crowd is growing incredibly restless. The chorus of booes is deafening. Amy Atom is keeping Dalton busy, and Truman easily manhandles El Technico, and K3yla can’t make it into the ring. Finally, an fan from the crowd, a big black man in overalls and a dirty shirt, leaps over the barricade and slides into the ring. “
What you are doing? This isn’t fair competition,” the fan says, standing taller than Truman and easily out weighs him. Truman goes to throw a punch, but the fan catches him in an enormous bear hug! He lifts him off the ground!
Ali: This is madness! Someone get that fan out of there! Someone get Truman out of there! This shouldn’t be how everything starts!Security and referees come running to the ring, trying to calm everything down.
A song blasts out over the Arena, and Quentin Ohmega comes out onto the entrance ramp, microphone in hand. “Well well, now. This is an interesting pickle. You see, I was upstairs in my box suite, enjoying the show. And you all forced me to make my way down here and clean this up. I hired you to keep things enforced down here, Dalton. And I guess you really did do pretty well. And you, fan, you realize that you are going to jail for assaulting one of my wrestlers, right?”
The fan puts down Truman, who rolls out of the ring slowly, holding his ribs. Amy Atom heads to his side, and security and refs forcibly remove them from ringside. The fan, in the ring, seems as surprised as anyone, it seems. Quentin makes his way into the ring as Riesgo and El Technico breath heavily. K3yla finally gets back in the ring and is thanking the fan. Quentin, a full foot shorter than the fan, shares his microphone with him. “Why don’t you go ahead and tell me your name, before I have your forcibly removed from this building, and more than likely have a restraining order slapped on you to boot.”
Hesitantly, the fan leans forward. “
My name is Jeremy, Jeremy Cleetus.”
“All right, Jeremy. What made you jump the barricade and more than likely ruin your life?”
“
I … I just didn’t like how that man was cheating like that.” The crowd cheered at Cleetus’ simple answer. Quentin takes notice.
“Let’s go for a walk, Jeremy. And Dalton, get this match back on track.” With that, Quentin Ohmega and the big fan, Jeremy Cleetus, leave the ring. El Technico, Riesgo, and K3yla get to their feet as the fans cheer them on.
Ali: We are down to the final three. All three are injured more than they should be because of interferences by ---Rumble: No, no, no! There are no “interferences.” Interference is a finable offense, but in a battle royal, it is all perfectly legal. Frowned upon, but legal.
Ali: There is such thing as sportsmanship, Rumble. The three wrestlers circle each other, each one looking for an advantage. K3yla puts up her hands in an attempt to lock up. El Technico and Riesgo look at each other, and then together both dropkick K3yla! That sends her flying over the top rope. She catches herself on the second one and barely avoids her feet hitting the floor.
Riesgo and El Technico both begin to run the ropes again. El Technico whipped into the ropes, Riesgo leap frogs, she then lands, prepared to monkey flip El Technico, but he holds onto the ropes. She notices, runs up to clothesline him, and he back body drops her over the top! Riesgo lands safely outside before she realizes what happened.
TENTH ELIMINATED RIESGO
El Technico shrugs and waves to Riesgo, who nods and claps for the luchadore, but that allows K3yla to swoop in from behind and dump him out as well!!
ELEVENTH ELIMINATED EL TECHNICO IV
Winner: K3yla!!
Rumble: Number 1 seed for K3yla, and a good $1100 to boot. She, Riesgo, and El Technico are lucky they do not have to wrestle again tonight.
Ali: That’s right. The first eight eliminated will be competing in the first round of the Gold Rush tournament.Rumble: Yup, we gotta figure out the losers brackets.
Ali: I’m just getting word, it seems that we have an announcement from Quentin Ohmega backstage. The enormous LED screen above the entrance way switches videos to an office. The big fan from earlier, Jeremy Cleetus, and Quentin Ohmega stand together. Cleetus has a huge smile on his face. “I am very happy to announce that this man, Jeremy Cleetus, has made an arrangement with us at 777 Championship Wrestling. You see, a fan who jumps the barricade, interferes with a live broadcast, and assaults one of our talents, a fan like that is going to be in a huge amount of hurt and pain from our lawyers. But, a wrestler … well, he earns himself a signing bonus. So welcome everyone to Jeremy Cleetus, the newest ---“
“
Mr. Ohmega.”
“Um … yes, Jeremy.”
“
I … I have a nickname I’d like to use.”
“Sure, Jeremy, go ahead.”
“
I am Jermey ‘the Pain Conductor’ Cleetus.”
The fans cheer voraciously at the name.
“
It’s … it’s because I’m a train conductor, you see.”
“Yes, that’s fine. Ok, so Jeremy the Pain Conductor Cleetus has officially signed with 777 Championship Wrestling. And he’s earned himself $500 as well.”
The LED display to the left of the screen refreshes itself, adding Jeremy Cleetus to the Net Worth display.
“Also, next week, he’ll have his first match EVER. So, that’ll be fun. Now, on with the Gold Rush tournament!”
Jeremy waves and smiles to the crowd before the screen goes back to the neutral logo display.
Ali: Our President and CEO is known for making spur of the moment decisions, and absolutely this one seems like a strange call.Rumble: I hate it. That man should be arrested, put in jail, fined for everything he’s worth, and … have his train trashed for assaulting Truman.
Ali: That seems mighty harsh. And Truman was cheating himself.Rumble: NO CHEATING WAS PERPETRATED!
Ali: Fine. It seems that Garrett Dalton is ready for the first round match of the Gold Rush tournament.Gold Rush Double Elimination Tournament match: Seed 5 v. Seed 12: Lucas Thrope v. Miles Infinity
Rumble: This should be an interesting match-up.
The match starts slowly, until Lucas, tired of waiting, looks to the crowd and shrugs, then hits Miles Infinity with a Haymaker. Miles Infinity answers back with a quick kick and a Face-breaker DDT. Lucas gets to his feet faster than Miles Infinity and stomps him down, before picking him up and whipping the fortune teller into the ropes. Miles comes back quickly, but is smashed with a backfist from the One Man Wolfpack. As Lucas reaches down to pull Miles up to his feet, Miles counters with a small package!
Rumble: It might not be too smart to go for a pin just yet. I don't think that Lucas Thrope is weakened enough.
Ali: Miles Infinity has Lucas Thrope's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!Lucas Thrope kicks out of the pin attempt.
Rumble: Lucas Thrope still has a lot of fight left.
The two trade blows. Miles whips Lucas into the corner, but Lucas counters. Miles crashes into the corner, and Lucas quickly follows up by lifting The Connection off his feet and throwing him in a Tree of Woe in the corner. He then slides out and starts to choke him. Lucas Thrope applies the pressure on Miles Infinity with that Tree of Woe Foot Choke as the referee yells and starts to count. Miles Infinity is trying to break out of the hold until Lucas lets go and the referee breaks the hold.
As Infinity catches his breath, Thrope hits Miles Infinity with that Running Backfist. Lucas Thrope rolls up Miles Infinity and tries for a pin.
Ali: Lucas Thrope has Miles Infinity's shoulders pinned to the mat and the referee starts the count. ONE!Ali: TWO!Rumble: I don't think that Lucas Thrope has done enough damage yet. Miles Infinity should kick out right ---
Miles Infinity kicks out of the pin attempt. Lucas whips Miles into the ropes, then catches The Connection with a Lou Thesz Press, followed by punches and strikes to Infinity's face. Lucas Thrope drops down and goes for the cover on Miles Infinity.
Ali: ONE!Miles Infinity gets a shoulder up and breaks out of the pin attempt!
Rumble: Miles Infinity still has a lot of fight left.
The two lock up once again. Miles Infinity struggles to break free, but is unsuccessful as Lucas Thrope once again throws The Connection into the corner. Thrope locks in the Tree of Woe Foot Choke once again.
Rumble: Lucas Thrope senses that Miles Infinity is weakened.
Miles Infinity winces in pain as Lucas Thrope applies the pressure with the Tree of Woe Foot Choke Apron. After a count of 5, the referee breaks the hold.
Rumble: That might have saved Miles Infinity there.
Undeterred, Lucas Thrope sets Miles Infinity up and locks in the Tree of Woe Foot Choke for a third time! Lucas Thrope is trying to slow down the pace of this match. Lucas Thrope attempts to do some damage to Miles Infinity with the Tree of Woe Foot Choke. Miles Infinity feels the effects of the Tree of Woe Foot Choke as Lucas Thrope applies the pressure. As the ref counts and yells for Lucas to let go, Miles Infinity can't take the pain anymore and taps out!!
Ali: Lucas Thrope picks up the win here with that devastating Tree of Woe Foot Choke.Rumble: There really wasn't any choice there. It was either tap out or suffer permanent damage.
Winner by Submission: Lucas Thrope!!
Gold Rush Double Elimination Tournament match: Seed 6 v. Seed 11: Grundy v. Troll
Ali: Next, in a Normal Match, we have Grundy taking on Troll.Rumble: This should be an exciting match. Troll should have won the Battle Royal, so now he can redeem himself.
Ali:
Many probably think similarly of Grundy. I agree this should be exciting.Troll wastes no time and hooks Grundy in that devastating Clawhold. Grundy winces in pain as Troll applies the pressure with the Clawhold. Grundy trundles backwards, reaching for the ropes, which he eventually does, getting out of the Clawhold. As Troll boasts of his strength and accomplishment, Grundy comes back with a SHOCKING sitout chokebomb on Troll.
Ali:
That's a nice Sky High sitout chokebomb. Better than nice, almost unbelievable the amount of strength Grundy has.Grundy takes down Troll with that Ear-grab choke throw. He then gives a look to Froggy Froggy Froggy, sitting below the bottom turnbuckle in one of the corners. He nods and locks in the Mandible Claw on Troll. Troll is trying to reach for the ropes. Grundy applies the pressure on Troll, who seemingly in vain continues to stretch for the ropes. He finally gets his hands on them and the referee forces Grundy to let go of the Mandible Claw.
Rumble: Grundy isn't going to put away Troll that easily.
Troll gets hit with a Headbutt by Grundy. Troll trades a headbutt for an Elbow Drop to Grundy. But then ANOTHER sitout chokebomb to Troll! This time, Troll gets up quickly and answers Grundy with a Forearm Club. Grundy, getting angry, hits Troll with a third sitout chokebomb.
Ali:
That Sky High sitout chokebomb is impressive to say the least.Grundy locks Troll in the Mandible Claw yet again. Troll feels the effects of the Mandible Claw as Grundy applies the pressure. Troll is in trouble here. Troll grabs the ropes and the referee forces Grundy to let go of the Mandible Claw. Grundy measures up Troll and hits the Ear-grab choke throw, then another one. As Troll lays on the mat, Grundy gets down and looks into Froggy Froggy Froggy's eyes, before nodding.
Rumble: What is that beast doing?
Ali: I think that Grundy is setting up for the Woodchipper, an over the shoulder facebuster he uses to finish matches definitively.Rumble: Oh. Well, Troll could be in trouble here. Get up, Troll!!

"
I'm here with 'The Iron Horse' Jim Steed in a local hospital." The camera pans over to see Jim Steed, sitting on the edge of his bed, eating his tenth or eleventh pudding cup. He smiles, a few staples in the back of his head and the barely on hospital gown the only evidence that he was ever hurt. "
How are you feeling, Jim?"
"
Oh, hey, Christina. Are we rolling this time?"
"
Yes, Jim, this is live."
"
Really, oh wow. Hey everybody, all you guys watching. I'm Jim Steed and I'm here with the really pretty Christina Lam, who is gonna ask me questions."
"
Right. Jim, what do you remember happening?"
"
Uh, I was leaving the outdoor racing laps. I got inside, then someone came up behind me and smashed me in the back of the head. I woke up in the ambulance."
"
Do you have any guesses on who did this?"
"
Nah, I have no clue. But I got seven staples in my head, so they hit me real hard."
"
When do you plan to be back in 777 Championship Wrestling?"
"
I was hoping for today. I don't know when I'll be cleared. But when I am, I'll run full force into it and get my revenge! ... Was that good? I said it the way that you told me to --"
"
Yes, good job, Jim. This is Christina Lam, back to you Ali and Rumble."
