((There are two ways to be a "jobber" in 777 Championship Wrestling. I'll go over them both here.
1 - Be a member of the message board with a character on the card for a show, but not provide a Promo in time for that show. This is is known as the "Squash Rule."
2 - Be a character created by or passed to the 'admin' account. This is the "Jobber Rule."
The "Squash Rule" is there to give specific requirements for what is expected of the e-fed. I expect everyone signed on to be able to make a single promo once a week. If you do not, and there are not extraordinary circumstances that have been shared with me prior to the show, then your character will be "squashed." This will give a WIN to another character, provide a LOSS for your character, and potentially other negatives depending on the booking. A "Squash" also has no match. If your character is squashed, they will put up no fight and be beaten in a matter of seconds.
The "Jobber Rule" is there so that I can pad out the federation with characters to use on weekly Jackpot episodes. They are characters I made and will be putting into the Pro Wrestling Nexus Match Simulator system. Jobbers will not necessarily lose any match they are in. They will be statistically inferior to main roster members of the e-fed, but there is the possibility of an upset. However, on PPVs, there is no chance of winning for a Jobber because they did not Promo, and will not Promo. I may, as I see fit, write promos and RPs for these characters, but none of those will matter for a PPV. This may take some of the excitement out of the PPVs, but it is a more fair route to take, and I want PPVs to be the most controlled by you folks, the players, of anything else on the site.
Jobbers will have salaries, and I will use those salaries much like you players can to do things to matches. That said, Jobbers WILL NOT bet on the Scales.
If you have any questions about Jobbers or Squashes, ask them here. Thank you.
