Quentin Ohmega stands on an elaborate casino floor. Security wearing all black with gold trimming flanks Quentin. The hubbub of the casino rages in the background as the 777 Championship Wrestling owner smiles.
"Hello everyone. It has been a busy week. We've had a lot of wrestlers sign up, and I know for a fact there will be a few more. But as the Luckiest Man Alive, I do have to share my intentions here. You see, sometimes, wrestling is boring. I know, it is uncouth for someone in my position to say that, but it is true. It feels like there is nothing at stake. Like there is nothing to fight for. Even the things that should have the most worth, like the gold championship belts, they are ignored for other things. It makes me sick, and sad.
"So I make a promise to you. 777 Championship Wrestling will care. It will give you something to care about. And that is REAL SPORT, REAL competition, and REAL money. I care a LOT about money. So does the average man and woman today. Our country sits in a strange state of poverty and prosperity. It never seems fair the people who have all the money AREN'T you. And you are right. It isn't fair. It is all about luck. And I LOVE luck.
"So, let me introduce you to Grundy."
At that, an enormous Appalachian man comes into view. He is easily twice Quentin Ohmega's height, though Ohmega is a short man. Even more menacing is his leather mask, worn over his bearded face. And even more menacing is the ... hint of a smile?
"This man is called Grundy. And I would like to reward him for being the 7th wrestler at 777 Championship Wrestling. You hit the jackpot before Jackpot, Grundy." Quentin puts his hand in his inner jacket pocket and pulls out a wad of cash. "You may have signed on like everyone else for a $0.00 annual contract, but you will certainly be getting a wonderful bonus! Here you are, $777. This just might give you a leg up on your competition, and will certainly make you the only competitor able to place any bets for the first episode of Jackpot."
Quentin hands the behemoth the stack of cash, then turns back to the camera. "Bonuses, surprises, and a whole lot of luck. There will be a lot coming to 777 Championship Wrestling. Stay tuned."
