777 Championship Wrestling athlete, Jim Steed, a professional marathon runner and Iron Man competitor, was rushed to a local hospital late Wednesday evening. According to insider sources, Jim Steed was attacked from behind, presumably by another unnamed talent from the company. Steed will be going in for concussion testing, and unfortunately will be missing the very first episode of Jackpot.
Jim Steed had this to say: "I have no clue who would want to take me out. I may be good competition, and I am actually quite humbled that someone thought they needed to remove me from the match ... but there is only so much humility a guy can take before he is going to take out some payback of his own. I don't know who you are, but I WILL find out, and I WILL make my way back. I'll see you soon."
Speculation runs wild who could have taken Jim Steed out. With him out of commission, that means he will be unable to compete in the Double Elimination Gold Rush tournament. The twelve 777 Talents that will be featured in the tournament and opening Battle Royal match are as follows:
